On Christmas Eve Zach and I went to a church service at Atascocita High School, just down the road with Shannon, Cayden and her family (Daddy met up with us later). At first Z was really in to it as there was a lot of singing, guitar playing and dancing! He was clapping his hands and dancing around, it was like a Christian Wiggles concert for him! But then when the sermon started, he began getting antsy, so we had to go outside so as not to disturb the service. Luckily they had made "snow" outside, so we went to play in it. Really it was just shaved ice from a machine, like a big snow cone. He seemed to enjoy playing in it at first, then he slipped and felt how cold it was! Zach would never make it up north! (neither would I!)

And here is my Angel all tuckered out!
After he was snug as a bug in a rug, Steve and I got everything ready for Christmas! Stay tuned for the next post, it will be all about Santa and Zach's Christmas!

Breakfast with Santa
The Saturday before Christmas, Zachary's daycare hosted a breakfast with Santa and Steve and I took Zach. We figured this would be better than trying to drag a feisty 15 month old to the mall to stand in line!
His new thing is he now likes to walk up to the school, no more carrying my big boy (without a fight that is, LOL). Here he is heading in to meet Santa!
When we got to the room they were having the breakfast in, we saw that we were the first ones there, even before Santa! Zach colored me a picture, while trying to eat all the crayons, then ate (real food) like a champ!
Finally Santa arrived. He was a little strange, but his big booming voice had Z mesmerized! He was watching his every move. But when it came time to sit with Santa, mommy had to sit too, as he was a little scared of him.
Zach saying hi to one of his teachers, Mrs. Nayeli. He really likes her.
And here is my favorite pic from that day!

The beginning of many December/Christmas posts...
It's been awhile since my last post, so this one will be pretty long! Or I may just break it up in to a few posts...
Hopefully most of you got the Christmas cards we sent out (and if not the USPS should get them there soon!). Here is the picture we used on the cards...
We had a busy two weeks, first it was our 7 year wedding anniversary. We went to Mexico for a few days to celebrate, and Grandma (my mom) watched him. When we got back, he was so excited to see us! I have never had him give me so many hugs and kisses before! I loved it! And when we got home from the airport, he kept hugging all his stuffed animals too. Here is a picture of him sitting on his little couch with all of his "friends"
The next day I took Z to the park. He loved the swing, he giggled for about 15 minutes straight. Here is a look of pure joy that only a child can show
Also, wanted to tell everyone that after each post is a comment section, just click where it says "comments" and you can post a message. Not really sure if anyone else is reading this besides Steve or my mom, so wouldn't mind hearing from you guys!

Cayden's 5th Birthday
This past weekend we went to one of my BFF's son's birthday party at Pump it Up. It is a play zone for kids with a bunch of blow up jump/slide machines. At first Zach was very scared about the whole place. There was a bunch of people, tons of kids all running around so he just wanted to cling on to mommy the whole time. That was until I took him down the big slide!
At first he looked awfully scared...But by the time we made it to the bottom, he was thrilled!
And wanted to go back up!
Afterwards all the kids ate pizza, and Z ate his like a big boy! I didn't even have to cut it up into little bites! Sorry the pic is so dark
And here is the birthday boy sitting on his "throne"
By the time we left he was pooped, he passed out in the car ride home, holding his balloon of course!

Bubbles Bubbles!
We gave Zach his first bubble bath last week. At first he wasn't so sure about the bubbles, when he would get some on his hands, he would try to take them off, almost one by one. But by the end of the bath, he was loving them! Now he wants bubbles every time! Here are some picture with him playing.

Headbands and Bags
The morning is usually Zachary's happiest time of day, ironic because I am not a morning person at all, but this morning Zach was being a little fussy. That is until he saw his school bag, and he wanted it right away! He looked like such a little man walking to the front door with his bag draped over his shoulder like a big boy! And he held Daddy's hand and walked all the way to the car, ready to be let in to go off to school! Thank goodness he loves it there.
Headbands-well Zachary has really taken a liking to my headbands! He likes to try and put them on his head, and has succeeded a few times! One time he left it on for about 10 minutes, it was pretty funny!
Note: I have figured out how to make pictures larger if you click on them. All new pictures going forward will be this way...

Thanksgiving 2007 Post
We had a busy Thanksgiving weekend, Zach met with a lot of family, some for the first time, and some he hadn't seen in months.
On Wednesday night we had dinner at our house with Zach's great grandparents (Steve's maternal grandparents) and his parents. This was their first time meeting Zach, and boy was he a ham! He was very shy at first, but eventually came around, and really like when Grandad Jim held him while he watched mommy cook! He also was perfecting his fake cry, he can really turn it on and off! It was funny to watch him.
Here are some pics with his great-grandma.
Hugs!
And here is a pic of everyone, except me, LOL!
On Thursday (Turkey Day) we went to my mom's house first. She found my old rocking chair and we got a pic of Z in it. He wasn't that happy of a camper, it was right before nap time!
Then after dinner, both Zach and I took a much needed nap, then headed across town to my dad's house to visit with all my uncles/brothers/cousins etc. All my family was there except for my brother Christoper (in NYC). We finally took another family photos of the three of us too! Even though once again, Z is crying, but I still think it is a cute shot!
And here are some of my other family members. Note Uncle Mike's crazy hair!
By Friday all of us were exhausted and Zach and I slept most of the day! Poor Steve had to go to work, but luckily got off early.
And Sunday we started to decorate for Christmas! Zach had fun "helping" me unpack all my boxes of x-mas stuff. It really is starting to look like Christmas threw up in my house, just the way I like it!
And even though poor Skipper Dog is no longer with us, we still hung his stocking, as well as our dogs Mya, Lucky and Jezebel's paw stockings.
That's all for now!

My First Entry!
I have been so behind in filling out Zachary's baby book that I thought I would start a blog detailing his life. He is doing so many new things every day, and I know we may forget them all, so hopefully with having an online blog I will keep up with things more! Also, with friends and relatives all over the country, this way they can up with how we are doing!
We just had Thanksgiving (yesterday) and Zach was completely worn out today (as was mommy!) We mostly just hung out at the house being lazy. At one point we were on the bed and I had a barricade of pillows under a blanket to keep him from crawling off, well Z went over to the blanket and started saying dada. It was so cute! He was convinced that Daddy was under the blanket. I had to move the pillows and blanket to show him and told him that Daddy was at work.
Other new things, he learned how to say Uh-oh when he drops something, so at lunch he kept dropping his napkin and saying uh-oh, and wanting me to pick it up so he could drop it again!
Also, he has learned how to talk on his little telephone, he holds it up to his ear! It's pretty cute!
I will upload lots of photos soon!
